Amara is a lawyer called to the Nigerian Bar in 2021, where she practiced before commencing her LL.M. in Intellectual Property and the Digital Economy at the University of Glasgow. Her academic and professional interests lie in the economics of artificial intelligence and the interaction between IP law, innovation, and emerging digital markets. She is particularly interested in how intellectual property frameworks can be adapted to balance technological advancement, competition, and public interest in the age of AI.
Ashi completed her BBA LL.B. from India in 2024 and is a qualified lawyer eligible to practise in India. Prior to beginning her Master’s in Intellectual Property and the Digital Economy, Ashi worked in regulatory compliance consulting, gaining experience in navigating complex legal and regulatory frameworks. Her academic and professional interests lie in media and entertainment law, particularly at the intersection of intellectual property, technology, and the creative industries.
Flavia is currently pursuing her LLM in Intellectual Property in the Digital Economy as part of her degree in Law at the LUISS University of Rome.
As a creator (writer and illustrator) herself, she is very passionate about the rights of authors, with particular regards to moral rights, and their intersection with the digital environment.
